Kelsie Liechty Story Moment

Passepartout at the festival about to enter the temple. I didn't design him during our character section but I decided to make him a young human man. Some parts are still a little rough but this kicked my butt. Why did I do architecture?

Sarah Cotton- Creatures

Wesley Tippetts - Critiques

I'm just gonna say this, the fish creature looks like male genitals.  In the draw-over I tried describe more of the anatomy and change the cheekballs into those punching arms from a mantis shrimp.  Also tried to base the tail off a beta fish.

Reference elephant (or dinosaur, or both) anatomy just a little more.  Also, the pattern going down its neck is really interesting, but to me it feels too small and light.  If you want it to be subtle, that's fine but I think you could exaggerate it more.

The banner from the back reminded me of a samurai, plus I remembered you did a kinda Asian-looking character earlier...so I reference a shiba-inu dog and a Buddhist lion.  Also tried to make the legs a little longer and more anatomical.

The character's cool, but I'm not sure what his personality is.  I thought he might be a brute, so for #1 I made him beefier.  I thought maybe you meant for him to be kinda derpy, so for #2 all I did was try to get rid of some of the definition in his chest.  Almost a singular moob kinda thing.

Creature Critiques

Miranda Moorhead: Great design, I just felt that neck needed to be longer to balance out the overall design. Your colors are great! Super cute creature!

Jesse: We've already discussed this stuff but just for here, straightening that forearm to feel more anotomically correct. I wonder too if you could push the thickness of the neck to kind of contrast the thin limbs throughout the rest of the body, or you could make it longer. Just some thoughts to take with a grain of salt. I think the pose is awesome, and the spikeys are cool, just vary the sizes of those some more. The feet are absolutely awesome!

Brad Duke: I really actually liked your polar bear creature a lot! There's that big long curve in the neck that's just absolutely beautiful, there were just some anatomy issues with the legs that I drew in a suggestion for a direction you could go to bring in that curve from the neck into the legs. The lion wolf creature is pretty cool too, I just added more shape to the stomach and made the legs feel more attached to the body. I also made the legs a smidge longer.

Hope this helps!
