Great work Cody! I love the way you painted your creature. I especially like your handling of light. This might be just a personal preference, but I think it his head is just a little too small for the rest of his body. :)
It looks really cool. The only thing I might suggest is that the arms may look a little better if the shoulder to elbow length was the same as the elbow to hand length. Maybe.
As always you have a nice feel to your piece, very mood driven. I would add a few hard lines in there to focus in on a point of interest. Overall he is very cool though, an easily readable design.
I always love the style, but keeping it more anatomically correct always helps thing to read better. Whenever I see things that are skewed more than believable, I see the as kind of goofy an not menacing. Small thing, the way his feet are positioned, it almost looks like he is going to fall over backwards. Really the only thing is to tighten up the anatomy and keep the rendering and you got it.
